I began teaching at Hamburg School District in 1993. I taught 4th - 6th-grade Title I Math for 6 years and fifth grade Math for 6 years. I then transferred to the Middle School in 2004 to teach 8th grade Pre-Algebra for 10 years, along with Algebra I for three of those years. I have been an Instructional Facilitator for the past five years.
My first year of teaching, in 1992, I taught at Montrose Academy. I taught a Pre-School/ Kindergarten class! That was an experience all in itself. In 1993, I began teaching in Hamburg at Allbritton Upper Elementary School. I taught there until 2004, at that time I moved to the Jr High to teach 8th grade Pre-Algebra. I taught there for ten years, at that point I moved into the position I am in now which is the Instructional Facilitator.
I am married to Rodney Chapman. We have two children, Kaley and Lane. Kaley is married to Trey and they have two children Benson and Drake. Lane is in college at Central Baptist College.
When I have time….I enjoy running, spending time outside, and doing craft projects. I make time to bible journal and to spend with my family, especially my grandbabies.
