I graduated from Hamburg High School in 2010 as an honor graduate. I then attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelors degree in Biology. I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Teaching in 2016.

I started teaching in 2015 at Poyen Highschool. I taught there for 3 years teaching physical science, environmental science and physics and coached football, basketball and track. This is my first year teaching in the Hamburg School District and as the Head Junior High Coach.
I have a wife named Morgyn Hartley, we have 2 children, Ellisyn (3 years old) and Camden (1 year old).
