In 2017, I attended courses through Arkansas Tech University to complete the TESOL endorsement.
In 2019, I enrolled in Southern Arkansas University where I am currently seeking my master’s degree in Library Media and Information Specialist. I should complete this program in the summer of 2021.

Seeking Master’s in LMIS
I am in my third year of teaching 6th and 7th grade Literacy and Creative Writing at Hamburg Middle School.
I am also starting my second year as Student Council Sponsor for HMS.
I have been teaching for 11 years. I spent my first 9 years teaching Literacy and Social Studies at Allbritton Elementary in the 5th grade.
Prior to obtaining my teacher’s license, I served as an AmeriCorps member, substitute teacher, and one year as a paraprofessional for 1st grade at Noble Elementary.
God has given me two beautiful children, Dalton, a senior, and Emilee, 9th grade. Both children have grown up in the Hamburg School District.
We have two dogs, Lucy and Mae, and two cats, Opie and Bluebell.
I enjoy spending all the time I can get with my two kiddos! I also enjoy thrift shopping, being outdoors, and listening to audiobooks.
